Help TBR serve two million meals to our most vulnerable citizens

About TBR

The Breakfast Revolution (TBR) is a program under Decimal Foundation, a registered trust in Mumbai. We are a 501 c3 certified organization in the US. Our snacks are revolutionizing the traditional approach to fighting malnutrition. The snacks are affordable, tasty and nutritious. Using innovative approach, nutrition science and behavior change communication, we have impacted 85,000 children and served 14 million meals. This has only been possible because of people like you who have generously donated and helped our revolution scale!

TBR's Response to COVID-19

At TBR, we are moving swiftly to address the needs of the most vulnerable populations: migrant workers, families living in urban slums, health care professionals serving in Government Hospitals, and the local police. We have partnered with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Government of Maharashtra to provide meals in a compliant and safe manner during the lockdown. We are proud to announce that we have procured and are distributing 80,000 protein-rich ready-to-eat meals in the first week of our campaign. We are in the process of securing an additional 85,000 meals in the second week. Our goal is to serve two million meals to the most vulnerable communities in Mumbai by 30 June, 2020.

The challenge ahead of us is enormous and overwhelming. On the frontline, our team is experiencing a lot of emotions: anxiety, sadness, helplessness, fear, grief, hope. And it is hope that is moving us forward in these trying times. We are immensely proud of our team in India for going above and beyond to support thousands of families like Manisha’s. And we are immensely grateful to all the individual and corporate donors, including Kellogg’s India, for their support. We appeal to your generosity in these trying times to help us help those in most dire needs. At our end, we promise to do our best to serve food so that families don’t sleep on an empty stomach.
